Slatherin’ & Competin’ in Moncks Corner

The Slather Brand Team will be using our signature Original Recipe Slatherin’ Sauce this weekend (September 24-25) in the Berkeley BBQ Cook-Off in Moncks Corner. This event is described as, “A “whole hog” barbeque cook-off features cookers from North and South Carolina. Enjoy music, family-friendly entertainment and of course, food.”

No doubt the sauce will be flying as we Slather It On to craft some mighty fine ‘cue!

Don’t Label Me-Outstanding Packaging from Around the Globe

Earlier in the summer of 2010, Slather Brand Foods was selected to be included in an exhibition of outstandingly packaged products at the Direktorenhaus in Berlin. To say we were excited is an understatement! Today we received our invitation and we’re sharing it you.

So for all you Slatherin’ Sauce fans, friends and fanciers, here’s your invitation to join some really cool design folks in Berlin to celebrate our inclusion in this exhibition. If you just happen to be in Berlin on Thursday, 23 September, you’re invited to the opening reception! We’ll be in good company with Southern Comfort as on of the sponsors!

Rosh Hashanah Slathered Chicken

Did you know that 1/4 of every jar of  Slatherin’ Sauce is pure honey?

Rosh Hashanah meals usually include apples and honey, to symbolize a sweet new year. We’ve added our very own twist on that by creating this yummy Chicken Recipe.

Rosh Hashanah Chicken with Slatherin’ Sauce

Roast a Kosher Chicken and Slather with Original Recipe Slatherin’ Sauce the last 10 minutes to create sweet honey glaze.

Serve with Sweet Potato and Carrot Tzimmes for a wonderfully sweet and satisfying New Year’s meal.
