I first encountered your bbq sauce at the South Eastern Wildlife Expo in Charleston SC. My husband and I LOVED it! I use it on everything – chicken, pork etc! It’ll be one of his stocking stuffers this Christmas!
We had a dinner for the “slow food” $5.00 challenge. I served buttermilk fried chicken, sautéed mixed southern greens collards, mustard, turnip & spinach. Then a crispy crust cornbread all all with your original “Slathern Sauce.” I will serve the Spicy Slatherin’ Sauce at another event.
Hi! I had the pleasure of winning three (3!) bottles of Slatherin’ Sauce on a blogging friend’s give-away. Thank you SO much!
If you’d like to see my write-up about it, I’d be honored. (I don’t want to “toot my own horn” so I won’t leave the link unless you say it’s okay — it’s YOUR moment to shine, not mine.
Do share with us how you use your Slatherin’ Sauce! While many use Slatherin’ Sauce as a barbecue sauce, we often tell people we’re an everything sauce! ‘Cause we’ve never found anything that can’t be improved by adding a bit of it to the whatever we’re cooking, either on the grill, the stove or in the oven. We have some new recipes coming soon from Holly Herrick that will make use of the very best of summer’s produce!
Our ribs for Memorial Day are going to be chic and saucy, not to mention SPICY, w/your Slather Brand Sauce! And, yes, I’ll be posting pixs at What’s for Dinner? Ally’s Kitchen on FB!! Ally
I absolutely LOVE Slatherin Sauce and gave both flavors to my mother for Mother’s Day who LOVES GOOD food! I just devoured some wings that were slathered in Original! I’m taking this to tailgates with me this football season! It was a pleasure to meet another Geechie Gurl at the Metro Cooking Show in Atlanta! Love you all!!
David, thanks for letting us know your sons really love Slatherin’ Sauce. We’ve seen that children really love it’s sweet taste on everything. Try it with broccoli! Everybody will be eating more vegetables!
As a restaurant owner/investor, i try a lot of products. Your suace is most appealing, distinctive and has a myriad of uses. So glad i found it, and will share it many others
My husband and I just moved from VA to the low-country a few weeks ago. We were able to attend the Charleston Food and Wine festival where we first heard of and tasted your wonderful Slatherin’ Sauces! I was finally able to use it in a recipe only a few days ago and would love to share it with you and your clientele. Please let me know where you would like for me to share the recipe! Wonderful! Wonderful product!
Thanks,
~Katie
“Katie, We are so thrilled that you’ve enjoyed Slatherin’ Sauce. Please post your recipe to our Facebook page and include a photo of you and or your recipe! http://www.Facebook.com/SlatherBrandFoods And we’re really glad to have you in the Lowcountry!”
My fiance & I bought some Slatherin’ sauce a few days ago when Robin was at A Southern Season in Chapel Hill. We haven’t had a chance to make an actual meal with it yet, but y’all, it’s so good we’ve been eating it on Saltines! We’re definitely fans for life!
Lauren,
Thank you so much for reaching out to us to let us and others know how much you like Slatherin’Sauce. It is customers like you that make what I do so FUN!!!!
Don’t rub it in…Slather it ON!!!!
Hi, Hunter, You can find a list of merchants carrying our sauces on our website page Where To Buy. Lots of great merchants in the Lowcountry sell our sauce!
Hunter, I love your comment!!! It is because of fans like you that Slather Brand Foods continues to achieve success in the marketplace. We so appreciate you and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We hope that you will come out and visit us at all the events we have planned.Slather It On, my friend!!!!
My name is Orlando Wilson and I live in Baltimore, Maryland. I had the privilege of meeting you at the Philadelphia Food and Wine Show. I tasted your sauce and its the best I ever had. I have officially been slathered. Lol. Keep you in touch. I expect that you will be very successful.
Tried this FABULOUS sauce when Robin was in Chapel Hill, NC. As soon as I got back to San Antonio I ordered two bottles of the spicy sauce. LOVE IT! Of course, we’d like it a kicked up a little more, please because we like things hot here in Texas. My son and his wife love it, too and gave hints that it would make a nice Christmas gift. So I guess I’ll have to see if Robin has an autoship every month. You can bet I’ll be a regular customer.
Nancy, I love the way you think!!!! I have not thought about autoship options. As for needing a little more spicy…go ahead and add about a quarter teaspoon of crushed red pepper to that bottle and see if that won’t give you the kick you are looking for!!!!
I fixed Slathered veggies: green and red peppers, onions, mushrooms. Stir fried then added slather sauce and cooked a couple minutes. Served it over jasmine rice. It was such a great taste, you could add chicken or shrimp, but it was great with just the veggies. It is the best sauce I have ever cooked with.
The Slatherin’ Sauce was a hit with the whole family last night. I dry rubbed the prime rib with a mixture of brandied pepper, parsley, kosher salt, oregano, thyme & garlic & onion powders. We cooked it on the rotisserie and then “slathered” it up for the last 10 minutes of cooking. I took the pan drippings and heated them up with some extra Slatherin’ Sauce and then served that on the side like a gravy. I’m looking forward to the leftovers tonight!
Being a nurse and very health conscious, I’m constantly checking food labels. This sauce is made with wholesome, natural ingredients which surpasses my expectations. We enjoyed on meatloaf and especially with chicken wings and strips. We LOVE it !
And Slather Brand Foods loves you!!!! Thank you for your comments . We are honored that a health care professional loves to Slather it ON!!!! We will always provide the healthiest ingredients possible in all of our products.
My husband says that everything I cook is bland. Well, NO LONGER! Last week I made chicken, he looked at me and asked “what did you put on this?” Before I answered I asked – “Do you like it?” He said it was FANTASTIC! Just some Slather Sauce! Last night I made Slather Burgers and again – got rave reviews from my Husband!
I have tried almost every BBQ sauce/ finishing sauce on the market. And I have to say bar none Slatherin Sauce blows them all away. I am proud to say that Slatherin Sauce is the first BBQ style sauce that I am going to put on the shelves of my new store PAH PREE KAH which is located in Johnstown, PA.
Ever since I received my first bottle of Slatherin Sauce I have not been able to touch another condiment.
Rock On Craig!!!!! Congratulations on opening PA PREE KAH. We are honored to be on your shelves. Looking forward to visiting you soon and “slatherin it on”.
I picked up a couple bottles of the sauce and gave it a try on a few things and they all came out awesome! We had a big group and made Chicken, Shrimp and even some Wings. Everything we made with this sauce was a hit at this party for sure!
